Oatmeal, cooked in microwave.
1. Check that you have the following items:
2. Get bowl.a. Rolled oats
b. Saltc. Milkd. Preferred jam
3. Get preferred measuring implement.
4. Get rolled oats.
5. Add one measure of rolled oats to bowl. (Recommended portion size: 1 dl.)
6. Add two measures of water to bowl.
7. Add pinch of salt to bowl.
8. Get spoon.
9. Stir.
10. Put paper towel or microwave lid over bowl.
11. Microwave at full effect for 2 minutes.
12. Get oatmeal out of the microwave, and remove lid.
13. Get milk.
14. Pour milk on porridge.
15. Get jam.
16. Add jam to porridge.
17. Put milk back where it lives.
18. Put jam back where it lives.
19. Put rolled oats back where they live.
10. Eat.
(Variations on a theme: exchange half the
water for milk, add sugar/cinnamon/cardamom before microwaving, microwave for
longer at lower wattage resulting in lower GI values, or place oats and water
in the bowl when you go to bed, nuke quickly to heat in the morning.)
